Genital Size Can Kill
A man committed suicide because he believed his penis was too small. He was examined by doctors who explained to him that his size was normal for an Asian man. Why didn't they just tell him he was normal? And why didn't they prescribe something like this penis lengethening device?
Doctors postulated that the man might have been more affected by depression than by his penis size. So, what caused his depression? Penis size. |

Post a CommentAnyway, if you look at the clinical guidelines for depression, and see some of the symptoms and conditions that it causes, and then go look those up and see what they cause, you get this kind of circular references.
One that came up with a friend of mine was insomnia, bad sleep patterns, oversleeping, losing jobs, and all compounded, caused by, and/or caused by depression. Medication for depression was tough, and yet insomnia was not cured, more jobs were lost, depression seemed resistant to the meds. Psych recommended new meds, years pass in this cycle, Psych says "I dunno!" is paid in full by expensive medical coverage, and all for presenting what I see as objectionable logic, if not quack medicine.
Kava Kava seemed to help this person with sleep, avoiding caffiene, and they are now quite opposed to powerful mega-corp and _profitable_ psychiatric medications of the SSRI variety.
What is weird about this? I guess that many assume doctors are somehow magically able to fix what ails you. It is quite tough even for a professional sometimes to get it right. Search for a good pro might be the moral here.
